Shakirat Omolara ADEDIRAN (nee Akinola) joined the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ilorin in 2016 as a lecturer I. She served as the Acting head of Department from August 2020 to August 2022. She has published her research in both national and international peer-reviewed reputable journals.Her research interest is cardiac and neuro anaesthesia while her clinical interest is in veterinary anaesthesia and pain management.
